Training on the Nationale slope before the European Cup

Over the past two days, a group of Swiss-ski athletes have been training on the first part of the Nationale slope, from Bella Lui to Les Houlès.

A conclusive test for both the athletes and our technical teams on the pslope. Valais skier Arnaud Boisset, who took part in the training session, particularly enjoyed his first swim on the Nationale slope:

“It was a very interesting training session. The part of Bella Lui already provides a first challenge, and the jump over the Cry d'Er break takes us into a wall with lots of terrain movement and hidden gates. This first portion of the Nationale slope will be very interesting for next week's European Cup races.”

The European Cup races kick off on Monday with a Super-G, followed by two downhills on Wednesday and Thursday.
