This vision forms the foundation of our sustainability concept. The concept is based on the ISO standard 20121:2024 and takes into account the dimensions of environment, social, economy and governance.

We integrate the four dimensions of sustainability across all event areas as well as into long-term legacy measures. In doing so, we promote innovative ideas and create a positive legacy.

We strengthen regional value creation, promote local specialties, cultural experiences and the involvement of regional SMEs. In doing so, we act ethically and in compliance with rules and create transparency about the event’s impacts on the environment, society and the economy.

LEGACY

The Ski World Championships in Crans-Montana create lasting added value. They promote snow sports, alpine skiing and sustainable events. At the same time, they strengthen Crans-Montana as a tourism destination and inspire the next generation to embrace snow sports.

SUSTAINABILITY REPORTING

We review, assess and publish the impacts of the event on the environment, society and the economy. We measure the ecological footprint using the FIS CO₂ Calculator. The value creation analysis is prepared by aiSTS Sport Management and Technology.
