Mont Lachaux Slope

A demanding and selective slope

The Mont Lachaux slope will host the women's downhill and Super-G events in 2026. This slope has already become famous for its selective and technically difficult nature, at the 1987 FIS Alpine World Ski Championships. The slope was completely remodelled in 2010 and is used every year for the Women's World Cup, mainly for speed races. Its reputation has remained the same: it's a very demanding slope, comparable to that of Kitzbühl on the men's circuit. The lower part of the course, where the slaloms are held, is particularly popular with the athletes because of its complexity, and with the public because they can follow the whole final part from the finish area.
